ARRESTS MADE, HANDGUNS RECOVERED FOLLOWING SEARCH WARRANT

ALBANY, NY – Four Albany residents were arrested on Livingston Avenue Tuesday during an investigation that yielded three loaded handguns.

On Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at approximately 1:15 p.m., Albany detectives executed a search warrant at a home on the 200 block of Livingston Avenue between Lark and Colonie Streets in reference to ongoing investigations. During the search warrant, detectives recovered three loaded handguns, two 9mm handguns and a .45 caliber handgun. 404 grams of marijuana were also recovered inside the residence. 

The following four individuals were taken into custody:

  • Drew Green, 18, of Albany
  • Jahmere Manning, 18, of Albany
  • Nyzire McCray, 23, of Albany
  • Nicholas Higgins, 28, of Albany

Each were charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, one count of Tampering with Evidence and one count of Criminal Possession of Marijuana 3rd.

They were each arraigned this morning in Albany Criminal Court and released after posting bail.
