The City of Albany has launched a web-based assessment database application. Residents are now able to search for and compare data from parcels around the city.

$5,000 Homeownership

Grant Program

Within the City of Albany’s “Midtown” area, there are several
different educational institutions. The colleges and university
located in this area are centers of activity and stability. These
institutions are essential in the growth and development of
Albany. The Program is focused on strengthening Albany
neighborhoods by increasing the rate of homeownership in the City.

    Mayor Gerald D. Jennings announced today that the Port of Albany has received two prestigious awards from the Railway Industrial Clearance Association.   • Wellington Place Development to Start
    ALBANY, N.Y. – Today Mayor Jennings was joined by Columbia Development and city officials to announce the start of the Wellington Place development. The $65 Million project will begin in Phase I, which includes environmental remediation, historic deconstruction and preservation and selective demolition.
