A life-long resident of Albany, Kahdesha previously worked in the healthcare field, but she found the work very physically demanding. "I was looking for a change to clerical and the City of Albany gave me the opportunity," says Kahdesha, an information clerk. She likes the other front end staff in the Department-there's a lot of camaraderie and laughter, she says-and has enjoyed learning about code enforcement. The public is another plus. "I'm dealing with all types of people," she says. "Different ethnicities, cultures, backgrounds, and you can't help but learn a lot. There's never a dull moment here."
In her off hours, Kahdesha likes to spend time with family and friends.
