ALBANY, NY – Albany police officers responding to a burglary call Tuesday night on Manning Boulevard discovered a large quantity of marijuana.
On Tuesday, January 26, 2021 around 10:45 p.m., officers responded to a home on the 200 block of Manning Boulevard between Washington Avenue and North Allen Street for reports of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers were told that unknown suspects attempted to gain entry to the home but fled before police arrival.
While at the scene, officers observed that a resident of the home was in possession 51 pounds of marijuana.
Christian Deluna, 25, of Albany, was subsequently taken into custody at the scene and charged with one count of Criminal Possession of Marijuana 1st.
He was arraigned this morning in Albany Criminal Court and released.
