Sergio Adams has lived in the Capital Region for 15 years. He is a graduate of the University at Albany receiving his degree in Urban Regional Planning. Sergio is a two term Albany Democratic Committee member, proud to be representing the diverse neighborhoods in the 7th Ward, the Hudson Park neighborhood, Delaware Ave neighborhood, Second Ave neighborhood and the Helderberg area.
As a public advocate Sergio wants to ensure that every family has an affordable and safe home. From his work with nonprofit affordable housing organizations, He has seen firsthand how families are struggling to stay in their homes and the impact that homelessness has on them.
Sergio has a background in Housing and Construction, Planning and Community Development. As your councilman he will address the issues concerning affordable Housing, Police Reform, and Workforce Development. The next 4 years will be a transformative time for the City of Albany and Sergio will fight for you every step of the way.
