Mohammad processes payment requests and inquiries into past payments and payment cycles. He also works on organizing and filing fiscal documents and records, ensuring they are coded and archived correctly. “I’ve always worked and volunteered for non-profits in middle school, high school, and college. I like to see where the money is going and see the impact in the community. It’s great to have that be a part of my professional career” he says.
Prior to joining the City of Albany, Mohammad worked in the food industry as a manager, overseeing administrative duties, customer service, and kitchen staff. He is a graduate of the College of St. Rose, and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration. Mohammad has a keen interest in the botanical sciences, nurturing house plants, and often provides assistance to co-workers, helping them take care of their office plants. Outside of work, Mohammad enjoys cooking and going on long nature walks.
