The Albany Department of Water & Water Supply provides school tours for 4th grade and up. We take the students through a hands on learning experience describing the water cycle at the Alcove Reservoir where Albany's source water comes from. Students are walked through this process and along the way get a chance to interact with macroinvertebrate detection and invasive species detection with hands on experiments.

Our Adult Tours (or adult field trips) consist of an in-depth walkthrough of the Alcove as well as our filtration plant. Providing a detailed discussion of the intricacies of your water system.
