The City of Albany's Cash for Coats Drive is a community event collecting funds to purchase NEW winter items for Albany kids in need.

For 16 years, the City of Albany and its partners have proudly facilitated purchasing and distributing over 15,000 NEW, quality winter coats and tens of thousands of new winter accessories to Albany’s children in need. With the challenges we face these past few years, we need your help more than ever.  

Donations to the Cash for Coats drive are made possible by United Way! Here's how you can contribute toward the purchase of winter clothing:

As a token of our gratitude, anyone who donates $25 or more will be invited to a free, catered concert and live recording of Palace Sessions at the Palace Theatre on Friday, November 8, 2024. Additional details will be sent upon receipt of donation(s).
