Planned maintenance keeps Albany’s water system reliable. When work is scheduled, we’ll notify addresses on the blocks that will be directly affected by temporary shutoffs or low pressure with door hangers in advance. We’ll also post updates on our social channels—follow below to get notices.

Nearby streets may experience brief low pressure or discolored water while work is underway. We’ll share an approximate impact radius with each notice and update our posts if conditions change.

What to do if you’re affected:

• Low pressure: service should return as work wraps up.
• Discolored water: run COLD water for a few minutes (ideally a bathtub or utility sink) until clear. Avoid using hot water or doing laundry until it clears.
