Amongst the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Albany Department of Recreation continued to provide the community with socially distanced programs and activities for children ages 6-14 years old as part of the Activate Recreation Program. Additionally, the Playstreets program offered community based initiatives throughout the city with socially distanced games, health screenings, job and career opportunities, as well as raffles and challenges for the whole family.
