Board of Estimate & Apportionment
The Board of Estimate and Apportionment (E&A) is comprised of the following members, Chief City Auditor, Mayor, Corporation Counsel, City Treasurer, and President of the Common Council. The board is responsible for approving all city real estate purchases, appropriations, and the annual operating budget. The board meets twice per month on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm to review and approve requested budget transfers and appropriation increases. The Chief City Auditor officiates the meeting. In the Chief City Auditor's absence, the meeting is officiated by an Office of Audit and Control representative. The final agenda is a reflection of budget modifications approved by the board.
